Just wondering if anyone can explain in detail how to bleed your brakes, change to stainless, etc. ? I checked the how to and there were some informative threads, however, the pictures were all taken off. I'm getting read to replace my rotors and brake pads and calipers and I might go ahead and replace the lines with stainless steel. Thanks, Dustin

word of advice, either rent a brake bleeder or install some speedbleeders.

Also, could someone rate on a scale out of 1-10 how hard it would be for me a novice to do this? Background: I have taken off my caliper and painted my caliper and cleaned the rotor off. So, if there is a lil more to that than maybe I'll be fine? Let me knkow thanks!

Do not attempt removal or installation of brake lines without flared nut wrenches. I would recommend having the following size (some are on the same wrench):

10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm

If you do not listen you will most likely round off the nuts on the lines. The wrenches are not too expensive.

I would recommend picking up a gatoraid bottle and some clear hose that will fit over the nipple of the caliper (where you open to let the fluid drain). You will need adjustable wrench to unscrew this bolt slightly.

If you do not get a speed bleeder, have someone on hand to help with pushing the brake. Also make sure the fluid does not get too low.
