Can i get 17 inch wheels on a Grand Touring?

was about to answer, then I realized you're a CX-5 driver.

For anyone jumping into this with interest for 17's on the CX-9,

I did test fit (back in NOV 14) my Enkei RSF5's off my old car to the CX-9, and it looks like clearance is fine. Looks close to the caliper, but no contact or anything. These are going to be my winter wheels in the future with some snow tires mounted on it:

Specs: 17x7.5" ET50 5-114 Bolt Pattern (Pictured with 215/50R17's LOL! (naughty))

I am currently running 17's on my GT. 245/65R-17 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 SL on 17x7.5 Sport Edition F11 Silver Rims. Basically the TireRack package. Speedometer is off about .5-1mph off but other than that, the ride is good. More quiet than other snowtires I have had before (Firestone Winterforce on a Toyota Sienna and Dunlop Graspics on a Protege5)

Sounds like pretty much the exact package I'll end up running when I plop down the dough for snows. Good to know someone else out there went as small as 17's :)
