Hi, I,m new to this forum and I have a question about my protege's camber after a 2 inch drop, will I need to get camber kits front and back, I don't want to wear out the inside of the tires prematurely... thanks..

It shouldnt be anything noticable, but you should get an alignment done asap, if you still notice uneven wearing after the alignment, then you can hook yourself up with a camber kit from Sprint, H&R, Eibach, or AWR.

Thanks I was worried about that , I read some where that I should let my springs settle a bit before alignment, maybe thats what I will do..

yeah, they take a little while to settle out. How much driving do you do a week? If it's not too much, it shouldn't hurt the tires too much to leave it a week or 2 w/o getting it aligned, just so you're sure that everything's settled out.

Handles great!

OMG what a difference, I thought my car handled good before but now, it's like on rails! What a pleasure it is to drive now, except now I got bearing noise on the front drivers side, I guess I got a little carried away on some corners, oh well, it would have needed replacement soon anyways :)
I don't think I got anywhere near a 2 inch drop, here's some pics:

Yah, definitely not a 2 inch drop...I just installed my Eiback Pro-Kit and Tokico HPs about a week ago and they've really settled....basically my front wheels no longer match the curvature of the wheel-well...looks really in there and it's only supposed to be 1.5" drop....I'll take pics when my bro comes back w/the digicam from Wisconsin.

Springs

The springs are Megan racing, the orange ones, they said the drop would be between 1.8 and 2.0 inches all round. They were damn cheap at 45 american for the set of four.

Camber Bolts

I do not like the negative camber in the front, I'm a courrier and put 1000 km's
a week on the car, I'm at 220,000 km's now so I have to bring my front wheels
closer to zero camber. I purchased TRW 13251A camber bolts from Canadain tire
at 27$ a piece! Holy mackeral! They had em in stock though, and they have good reviews but max adjustment is -1.25 to +1.25 degrees, not as much as Eibachs but there is no way this bolt will crack or seize up because of the tapered nylon cam.Re-adjustment will be easy years down the road. If I can't get enough positive camber with these bolts maybe I will rotate the shock mounts for another +.25 degrees :) I'll let you know how it turns out in case some one has this same problem, I'd rather not drill out the holes...
