camber kit

nice!
well i mean a rip off becasuse it is just a piece of metal. Mazdaspped parts are always overpriced.
plus for the price we paywe should get adjustable camber stock with the car. damn!

i dont think you have to get an AV for that Topny. if you do then we can take it off the forums since its going to be just a one off. you would prob have to get some volume thought, right?

To become an AV? I dont know how that works, if anything i can just order the stuff and then get it here and take pics and post it in the FS sections.

Since it would only be for this one item, you probably wouldn't need AV status but AMM status might cover your ass.

Does that $113 include shipping? The $116 from Drivewire does. Figure out what you can offer them for on here and see if it's even worth your while.

ZoomVT: It's a little more than just a random hunk of metal. Honestly, I think the price is more than fair for what you get. But I do agree that the damn thing should be adjustable from the factory!

yeah i know, i am just a little bitter. I dont know if its totally fair, 80bucks would bemore like it, but i guess the market drives the price, and so 116 it is.
Tony, let us know what you can or cannot do and maybe it will be worth your while. maybe not.

From what I've heard drivewire, although cheaper, may take some time in shipping out the order. It seems they drop ship the items from a warehouse which has limited supply, so it may take up to 3-4 weeks from when you pay to get your kit.

On the otherhand, tirerack lists their stock status in almost real-time ... so if it is listed on their site as "in-stock" you should receive it in about 2-3 days. I paid $140 for the links and I received then within 2 days, they were shipped via FedEX 2-day.

I'm not in a big hurry. I'd rather save the $26.

seriously. then you can do camber and like an oil change for free!!!

I am waiting for someone with the same offset/springs as me to do this so I can see if it works without rubbing. but i dont think anyone out there has the same

What is your wheel offset and what drop do you have? I've got a Sportline drop and +50mm RX8 wheels, Mazdaspeed camber links with no rubbing. I'm at +2.0 with that drop and the links. If I had the adjustable SPC links I'd be damn close to rubbing.

Hi, I just wanted to say I discovered the drivewire price (116$) that goldwing is bragging about. He told me to do some research and I found it...how ironic. Anyways, dont forget. Karma_Hunden > You all :D

(alright)

I have sportlines with a 47 offset

So the Eibach guy was full of s***. Why doesn't that surprise me?

edit: it's cheaper here: http://www.drivewire.com/PerformanceParts/eibach/mazda3alignmentkit.html

Ok just an update for you guys, i just got off the phone with my suppllier, Eibach, and SPC. My supplier placed an order with Eibach on Feb 27th for about 25 of these camber kits, they havnt came in yet. So i called Eibach and they said they are basically on backorder, they didnt get enough of the camber kits to fill the order (so less then 25). THEN i called SPC and they said that if anyone does still have any, their not gonna have them in any large quantities. The guy at SPC went and checked their paperwork and said that mid april they should get them in, then they gotta pair them up, and send them to eibach. THEN eibach has to put some stickers or sumthin on them, put them in an Eibach box, and finally send them to my supplier.

From there if anyone orders them i get stuff like that in overnite, i will have to wait till my supplier gets them in to find out if i can get a better price, then ill have to see what shipping would be for those. If i can offer them at a decent price i may get an AV status. And someone said that other website takes a long time to ship out, i would get them out asap.

i had sportlines on my car for 1 day the camber was driving me nuts and i went back to stock i need something a lil less agressive. so would you still need the camber kit if u have a pro kit or skunk 2 springs? and if i do how bad is the camber with the eibach and skunk 2

i have the pro kit and look at my camber, its not horrible but it does eat up the tires a little faster. (not the best pic)

After rereading my post there is an error. I'm at -2 not +2. Must have thought I was a Baja Bug for a second. :) I figure those Mazdaspeed camber links are good for removing about -2 degrees of negative camber. I was close to -4 with the Sportline drop and no correction. Although I am within Mazda spec (-2.2) I'd like to me closer to -1 for optimum tread life.

Nice plate. What if you buy another make? Hehe.

um does the camber kit fix the negative camber entirely or how close does it get to being the what the camber is supposed to be.

you really need to quit posting the exact same questions in multiple threads.

To answer it though, it depends on how much negative camber you have and what camber kit you use.

So is camber the reason why my rear tires keep getting ate up on this spot..........

Oh and that spot that is tore up is from hitting a poor little birdie on the interstate.
