Yea, maybe it was just the MSM ??I don't know I guess I'll have to drive it again when i get a chance. I have a few questions about the miata. Can you buy a hard top and put it on a miata that has a soft top? Like take the soft top off and install the hardtop.

If you buy a hardtop miata can the hard top be taken off ???

If you buy a hardtop miata can the hard top be taken off ??? YES, the hardtop is an option, but you would still get the soft top too.

you can do both.

[edit] i seem to think the hard tops will be a pain to mess with. you can't just plop it down whenever you feel like you want some wind on your face. i'll probably never get a hardtop because of that reason.[/edit]

I found an awsome deal near by for a miata.hehehe
I just hope this price isn't low cause its a salvage title....not good for me....

How much are hardtops and are they easy to install? dealership probably sells for more $$ huh?

depends on what year you are messing with. you also have options, plastic or glass, once again depending on year. my 01 is glass. if i remember correctly, nb's have the glass and some earlier na's have the plastic. i'm sure some miata fanatics will correct me if i am wrong.

either way you can buy a soft top with the plastic or glass option.

have any info on this miata that you are willing to give out other than what you just supplied?

is there a way to check the vin to see the history of the car, without having to pay for stuff like carfax or any of the other ones?? I have the vin...

i called the used dealership people, the guy says its a clean title and everything works fine. Now all i have to do is get some time to go there and test drive. Maybe sell a few of my performance mods and get this thing.....confusing...

Miatas can be had cheaper than you could believe. I got mine off ebay for $6k with 44k, always garaged, etc etc. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone for a cheaper deal with more miles.

Looks pretty good in the picture. Go for $2500 and see what they say. 150k is kinda alot, but not in the same way. Miata motors just dont die.

i think it's a actual dent.

either way, make sure you look over EVERYTHING on the car. inside and out. when i purchased my miata i made sure that i checked it out. i also got estimates on the items i would need to have replaced and got them to deduct it from the price, it went down majorly. check kelly blue book for pricing and so on.

one thing i really messed up on was not allowing myself more time to look around. i am happy with my purchase, but i would have saved a lot of money if i got a interior and soft top color of my choice. ( i got stuck with tan when i wanted black ) i just got a little too antsy and didn't give myself more time to look around.

This can be confusing because of the NA.

NA (1989-97)
NB (98-2005)
NC (2006+)

[edit] but yes, N/A is natrually aspirated. this is NA. i had someone ask me that just a couple of nights ago when i was talking about the generations of the miatas. [/edit]
