Calling all DC area MP3's and P5's

Sorry if you've seen this already, but there is a car meet on March 9th (saturday) at 3:00PM at Tyson's II Parking Garage (near Macy's). This meet is being talked about on several message boards now and a lot of NICE cars are showing up. There should be about 50+ cars according to the online interest.

Several Protege's are going, but I was hoping some people would rep their MP3's and P5's. I know there are a lot of you guys in the area.

What kind of meet is this? Plus is there enough room at Tysons II to be holding this meet, how about the cops thing...are we going to be hasseled by 50.

the guy organizing the event, is in the process of procuring a permit. The meet will be in on the top floor of the garage. So, there should be enough room. At previous events, it's my understanding that the security guards were interested in looking at the car and not removing them.

What the heck kind of MP3 and P5 meeting was this????? There were barely two 2000 model proteges and two MP3's including mine ....and the other MP3 just left. Didn't even get a chance to meet the guy. The whole lot was packed with all the other imports???

Well, I counted 6 no shows from the protegeclub board. This is actually typical. Too often people commit to a meet and don't show. You can't blame the rain because we were in a parking garage. Oh well, I still had a great time.

Man, I had no idea what was going on when I rolled into the garage downstairs....I was looking for cars similar to our make in a crowded street with people and cars just struggling to get a spot and then Flash!. I was like I hope I didn't block someones shot. Heh, heh wasn't thinking that someone is going to take a pic of my ride. But anyhow...I was hoping to see more Proteges with mods. Cuz the rest of the cars I have pretty much seen in other car shows. The whole aftermarket is loaded with parts for em. But yeh it was cool meeting ya man. We need to have more meets. Hopefully next time we get more of our cars out there. Take care and be well.

Yeh I saw you leave......was in the main parking, then some guy told me that I couldn't park where I was at due to regulations. Anyhow ....yeh the bimmers were cool...specially that blue M3.........
