Call Me Crazy

:
2003 Spicy Orange MSP & Mazda 6 S
I Just looked outside my office window, and noticed a really kick ass parking spot, on the end (just like I like them) right in front. SO i ran outside to move my car. Everyone at my office laughs at me when I do this, and I do it all the time when I see a good spot. LOL,
Greg this is for you :
"i love my mazdaspeed"

haha thats funny, there is a lady here that works with me that does the same thing.... the really funny part is that she drives a 2000 base model black neon and she is like 40, wtf is with that

we all laugh our ass off every time that happens

If you are crazy then I'm certifiable....

I spent all weekend with my Girlfriend and she thought I was being so considerate by dropping her off in front of stores, the movies, and restaurants when we would go out. Then she realized I was doing this so I could park in the farthest end of the lot so no one would park next to me. I will never hear the end of this one. I CAN'T STAND DOOR DINGS!

I don't think it is really all that crazy to want to protect what you drive, no matter what it is. You have to think about it this way. Your car, if you don't own your own home, is in most cases the most expensive thing you own. So, why not do the things it takes to keep it safe and looking good. It never fails though, we go to the movies or something and park way out in the lot and when we come out some other sport compact has parked right next to us. I understand the desire to park next to a car that you expect to repsect yours, but damn it, can't they park in the next spot over  Anyway, that is my .02

peace
Griff

turboge, Big Black Ben is useful. But i don't think i'll hire him.
He's too 'BIG' and will add extra weight. he looks like he weighs over 200lbs!
I think that's all he knows how to say. He doesn't seem to know how to punch a guy away.
:D

Steph, you ain't crazy. I try to watch where i park too. But i don't think i'll move my car once i park it. Even if there's a nice parking spot. Sometimes door dings are unavoidable. Even if you park in the furthest parking spot. You'll always find someone parking next to you and that one guy might hit their door against yours!
:'(

AGR#7 - that's a nice picture of your car at work. (lol) i don't think that mustang and camero deserves to park like that with you. They need to find there own space. :p

Thanks Limited! Ahhhhh enjoying a nice Black and Tan (Bass / Guinness). Why Bass, you ask? I typically prefer Ales to Lagers. It is St. Patrick's day, afterall.

As far as my parking; believe me; I am the underdog at work. Most of them are 1/4 mile enthusiasts; whereas, I am the lover of all that is Road Racing.

I try to keep my car clean and everything I think when people park next to a nice car they are more careful to not open the door to wide. IMO.

Crazy like a fox..... people don't realize just how careless they are when exiting OR those older folks with poor reflexes and sight tend to just swing those boat doors open upon our cars. I hate malls, movie parking lots, and Disneyland too!! That's why I tend not to frequent those spots. I park on the 5th floor way in the corner of our parking structure away from others next to a S2000. I garage my car to maintain some semblence of newness. Oh well, maybe we're foolin' ourselves....

If I get the black one it better come with Big Black Ben to protect it.

rut roh. sounds like a racist comment to me. somebody better jump all over this and report it:rolleyes:

anyway, i do the same thing. i have a huge area i can park my car in, i choose the spot closest to the exit that i can see if i lean foreward a little in my chair at my desk while looking out the window. kinda nice

I try to take up two spots whenever possible...I am at least courteous enough to stay in the back of the parking lot though not like other lazy asses that just don't want to take the time to pull in straight...I can't stand people like that.

ummm a car get stolen every 12 sec huh.... if so, i'd rather have dings on my door than having my car or stereo system stolen parking on the corners :D
