Caliper thoughts?

Yeah I had to replace my calipers last year, it was around 40ish a pop plus core charge. I did one and then the other one seized about a month later, no probs since. You get the core charge back when you return your old ones, seized or not. Not really a tough job once you get the wheel off, a bleeder kit really came in handy.

are the mazdaspeed protege calipers considered to be an upgrade? would they be bigger? i guess youd have to change pads and rotors too, but would the stock sedan/p5 master cylinder still do its thang properly if you did this swap?

okay quick question for you all.. I know that my caliper had been acting up, but sadley we still had to drive this car. Well driving it home tonight the caliper had a strong hold on the rotor one that I could actually notice. Got out and the rotor is glowing red hot. Well again sadley not driving the car isn't an option.. so I took of the wheel and caliper and removed the pads... hopeing that I could just reset the piston to work until thursday but i can't seem to get the piston in.. I don't have a c-clamp here sadley and no moneys to buy one any thoughts?
