Thanks. I used the Duplicolor Brake Caliper kit. It came with a can of caliper cleaner spray, paint and a crappy brush. I used some hobby brushes I had picked up. It holds up very well. I have used it on another car as well.

Did you remove the Calipers or did you do as the kit says and keep them on?

I have never painted my Calipers before, but I would like too on the MazdaSpeed as I think it would look really good and should have came that way from the factory.

Also, what Clear Coat would you recommend? Thanks much for any tips you can give.

I did not remove the calipers. I just taped them off with painters masking tape. Also, I did not coat the decals with clear coat. I have not had any issues with the decals pealing off yet. Not even on another car which has had decals on the calipers for 7 months so far. Clear coat might not hurt, but I was worried about the clear yellowing from the heat. I am sure there are folks on here that have clear coated, and can let us know if there is any issues with yellowing.

Spend some time making real sure the caliper is clean before you paint.

my calipers are red with white painted lettering. I applied 3 coats of hi temp clear. There is no yellowing.

I just happen to have the duplicolor kit sittin in the garage waitin to happen. Have been waiting on my brakes to wear out & do this along with rotors, fresh goodridge ss lines & pads that are also waitin their turn. Cool ass link, got another reason to put it off a bit until the stickers show up. Got the black kit & gonna get white stickers like in the posted pic. This place kicks ass!

Just ordered mine as well! I've been meaning to order the japanese-spec plate too, although last time I ordered one it was from a different site...might as well try these guys, they say it's aluminum...and $17 is cheap, I paid almost $40 last time.

Yes, that's the kit. You can find it cheaper at Walmart. My MS3 is silver, not red. It looks good with silver. I am sure it would with red also. Good luck!
