California Bay Area Flash

Anybody from the bay area know which dealerships have the ecu flash? I got tired of asking Fremont Magnussens, they honestly will try to avoid doing any work if they don't have to =T.

Whoa!! I'm getting my car detailed tomorrow at Stockton Mazda, and was going to see if they would do the flash at the same time. Did they give you guys any crap, or check under your hood??

Fremont Magnussen sucks... Tried to buy my car there and those assholes tried to give me some bs. OakTree is pretty good. Talk to "Peter" he's a relatively cool guy in the service department to arrange your flash. They won't give you a rent a car if you're under 21 though... so watch yourself. PEACE

Nope, wasn't my car..I got mine done last week. Not sure if they checked under the hood. They gave me some crap when I first went in, but after talking to the service manager, I got things straightened out.

I went in with quite a few problems so that one was quick n easy.

Well, like I said, I'll eb there tomorrow for a full detail job, so I'll try and talk to Pete and see if they will do it for me. I never complained about it, so hopefully he doesn't try and blame my mods. I'll let you all know tomorrow.

by the way, I really dont think they look under the hood. Of course the only mod i have is my "boost controller" which cant be seen anyway.

Damn, I just remembered I have my CEL on due to the DP. I'll try to reset my ECU before I go, and hopefully it wont trip again until they are done. Worst case scenario, is they will make a note of my mods. My warranty will expire around May'04 andways, so I'm really not going to stress about it.
Oh, and David isn't really a midget, but he's pretty short. I just like making fun of him. Maybe it's because I'm bigger than himI've known him for quite a few years. If you ever need any parts, look him up and tell him you know me, Alex.

First, yes the HWY 9 thread is freaking long. Just go to the last page, post and ask when the next meet is, right now we don't have one planned but if you go and post, I am sure one will happen soon. Don't worry about all the crap in the rest of the thread.ha ha

Second. Oak Tree flashed my car, I was the first person in to ask about it and went through all the crap so they know what's up now and it shouldn't be a problem.

Third. I graduated from SJSU and may end up back there for MBA, but for now I am just a former SJSU attendee
