Cadmium Rotors for MSP

I have been talking to a guy from Nights Auto, who is a Brembo dealer, and has many other brake products. He sells rotors for all mazdas, including the MSP (not sure what brand). They are all plated with Cadmium for optimal corrosion protection. Of course I think this wears near the pads, but eliminates rust along the edges, in the drilled holes, and any area not in contact with the pad. Cadmium has a slight gold tint to it. Picture is attached, Cadmium being on the right. They are drilled but not slotted, which I actually prefer. Cadmium plating is permenant. He said a set of 4 would be $250 if 10 people were interested.
#1 - Do you think this is a good deal
#2 - Would you buy these?

I know I am not a vendor, but if people are interested I think someone should pursue this. I have not looked into rotors much, nor have I tried different kinds, your opinons would be appreciated.

that's awesome. i wish you had these when i needed new brakes. i have the rotorworks, but i didn't like them too much. they are medeocre at best. the slots were all bad, the drilling wasn't exact. i mean, it was aligned, but not as nice as others, and you can see where they messed up slotting the things. those look pretty pimp, when i wear down these rotors, i'll grab a set of those... my rotorworks rotors, are all rusted to hell from all the rain we got this season. the edges, the slots, the holes, all rusted... really bad looking.

Called him, but he was not there. They are Magnums, made in Canada. I still have to discuss shipping with him (not sure if this was included in that price).
Yes this is cheap for cadmium plated.
Yes they are stock MSP size.

did u get the plating on the rotorworks rotors to prevent the rust?

I will be getting more details today. Attached is a picture of the Magnum rotors; the one on the left is zinc plated, the one on the right is cadmium plated. Supposedly the cadmium is better protection... I am attracted to gold tone anyway. He says they will only plate in cadmium now because the results are so much better, so they have less complaints / returns.

Since they will be shipping from Canada, we are still calculating a final cost per set. Hopefully duties can be avoided...

yea...im guessing he didnt get the zinc plating so any rotors rust without that

and I havent heard anyone else on the forums say anything neg about rotorworks...so ima stick with em.

I think they carry the lines, I will look into the pads. I will try to get a price asap.
