Well, unfortunately i am no longer a member of the limited MSP club. I was very very sad to see it go. But i traded in for a new MS3 pearl white (Pics to come)

Im loving the new car. It is amazing to drive.

Keep your eyes out in the FS section for a list of parts forsale!

Lastly i want to thank all of the people that have posted valuable information on the MSP. Over the 2 years i owned the car you have all been a treasure chest of great advice. I have learned so much about the MSP and cars in general. I wont go far, and im sure to keep tabs on the MSP section!

Well if I were to trade in the MSP it would have to be for a 1st gen Red or White MS3 so I understand...that you LEFT US YOU SON OF A b****.

Looks great, but I'll be honest. If I ever sell my MSP, I don't think I'd replace it with a MS3 of any gen. IMO its too much power to the front wheels, too heavy, and doesn't handle as well out of the box.

When I was looking to replace my original Protege, I couldn't find anything that was as much "fun," and ended up in the MSP. I'll probably keep the MSP for as long as I can, even if I move on to more "grown-up" cars...

^I agree i plan on keeping the msp, gettin a crossover suv when i get my first job out of school, and picking up a 55 or 57 chevy belair for a project car once i get out of school and get a job

Congratz on the new ride. Yea a msp to ms3 is not much of upgrade imo. But as long as u like it thats all that matters.

its only a small upgrade on the power band. but its a large upgrade on the comfort side of things. I was coming up fast on the 100 000KM number, and i was offered a good deal on trade in. I was getting a little tired of the MSP and all the problems. I looked into STi, EVO, WRX etc but the price was out of range. I just wanted a comfortable, reliable, fun to drive car.

At this point its hard to compare the MS3 to the MSP because its winter here any i havent been able to really drive it. But, i can tell you that i love the car. and the front end doesnt bother me at all.

The MSP was a great project car, but it seemed like something always need to be done. Over the 2 years i had it i never felt like it was driving perfect. I would fix something, and 2 days later something else would need to be changed. a never ending circle.

I think it's funny how Mazda only utilized about half the efficiency of the turbo on the MSP, but when I read about the MS3, one of the major issues with it is the turbo because it's not big enough to handle the amount of boost, even though it was set as the stock boost level.
