I'm sorry got many people posting, but yeah I'm not into the black ones, I do appreciate the offer. An i love rx8 another mazda monster it may not be as fast as a speed but we wouldn't hold candles on turns.

Sure would be fun for me to try though! I have Nitto's 225 40 with Cobbs and no rub. But alot of traction for the twisting turns.

Ok so guys, I've decided to go with Falken Ziex ZE-912. Now I know this is a stupid question, but I dont know jack s*** about tires and wheels. So like I said before I'm getting the oz wheels which are 18x8 48mm offset. Now I've decided to go with 225 just because I dont want to push it too much as far as rubbing goes. So am I supposed to get 225/45/18 or 225/40/18 if anyone can help I would realy appriciate it, I'm trying to order them by this weekend, Thanks!!!!!

40 will be a about 2% shorter and 45 will be about 2% taller. I got 235 because it was within .08% of stock.

Cool guys just to keep you updated I'm ordering Falken Ziex ZE-912 225/45/18 all season, when it snowed last year I couldnt drive so yea that sucked. So im going with all seasons just cuz they wont wear as fast as summer tires and ill be able to drive my car in december...

Well i bought some OZ ultraleggera 18's in silver for my silver speed 3, i run toyo proxes t 1 r's, damned fine tires, wet grip outstanding, and the treadwear is 240 compared to the bridgstones 140 ( oh i wore my bridgestones out in 3500 mile and thats rotating them too!). Mine are 18/215, i didnt really feel the need to go wider.

I have 18x8 RX-8's (et +50) with 235/40/18 Yokohama S-Drives and stock suspension. They rub. Not all the time and it seems like only in a certain situation (going over a heave in the road, like a rr track). The car floats up and when it comes back down, clip. It rubs on thefront of the lip, not the top. I'm getting rolled soon.

Hey I know it's been a while, but after 2 weeks of research and 5 mind battles. I've decided to go with the Yokohama S-Drives 235/40/18 with the oz's. I wanted to ask you how you like them. Do they grip better and how are they lasting you. Thank you
