Buying OZ Ultraleggera need new tires, help!!!

Ok guys this is my first thread, I'm buying the 18x8 OZ Ultraleggera wheels in gold (they look nice on the black mica). I also need new tires and figured while I'm at it, I might as well get something stickier than the stocks and something that will help me in take corners better with without having my frontwheel jackrabbit...lol...anyways I want to go with bigger tires, so I will as what are the widest tires I can put on my car, with me rubbing. Thanks to anyone who helps. Just to put it out there speed drivers are ******* awsome, the love we give each other when we see a brother on the road is cool.(friday)

LOL... So far if they are not a forum buddy there is no love from other Speed3 or speed6 drivers at all around here.

Buy some cheaper ebay rims, then you'll have money left over for a fresh set of tires Those ultralaggera rims are expensive as s***! The stock ones are nice enough, just paint the stock ones a different color and throw some spacers on there to push them outward.

Yeah, I'm here in Fairfax, va and I didnt see many speed driver at all, I bought my car in feb this year and I think I saw maybe 2 or 3 speed guys on the road and they all made gave me thumbs up or waves, but for some reason I'm starting to see alot more of them around here now, I see them on a daily basis. I don't want our cars to be the like sti and evo, I bought my speed to not be part of the fan wagon that is subies and evo's. Don't get me wrong there both awsome cars, but I love my speed

I also live in Fairfax, and I bought a set of 4 17" OZ Ultraleggera's in flat black for my 2007 rx8. They were ~$1200 from Tirerack. I cheaped out on tires, since i have a winter wheel/tire package as well, and I can buy good rubber next spring when my General Exclaim UHP's wear out. here are some pics.

Yeah only thing is I already order them, they'll be here soon. The set up on the picture is what I want my car to look like. Also does anyone how to go about painting the film on my fog lights to yellow like the pic, thanks!

I have 18x8 RX-8's (et +50) with 235/40/18 Yokohama S-Drives and stock suspension. They rub. Not all the time and it seems like only in a certain situation (going over a heave in the road, like a rr track). The car floats up and when it comes back down, clip. It rubs on thefront of the lip, not the top. I'm getting rolled soon.

I see MS3s all the time in fort walton beach. At the dealership right now there are 4 sitting there for sale. I don't know none of the drivers though and they all seem to be stock. I normally drive by and check them out if they are parked somewhere.

if you like handling then you may like the yokohama advan neovas. i know i love mine and they grip like im on rails but then again thats just me.

I picked up some OZ U.L.'s the other night, 18x8, 48mm offset I believe. 235-40-18 Yoko Avid W4s. Car handles well, no rubbing so far.

I love my Ultra's, they aren't played in my area.. LOL. I see like one other mazdaspeed3 a week and they usually have stock rims.

Be glad you didn't get that paint. Apparently, it got darker or my car got lighter. It doesn't match as well. 130F in my garage may have changed something.

Ive been seeing more and more ms3's down here in the va beach,norfolk,and chesapeake area. theres a guy that works down the street from me that has a black one ive rode next to him in my msp a few times back when i was driving it and i guess he had no clue what i was driving because he didnt really even look my way. I rarely ever see msp's anymore it makes my sad =(

Yeah, I ordered them from tirerack yesturday morning. I just looking for a new set of tires that will fit fine on these rims and I want wider I think I will be going 235's also though, the wider the better. Now to just pick out the right company to go with(dunno)
