Burning CDs for Mazda3 indash 6CD changer

I burned a CD of MP3s (the "real" files not a compressed MP3) for my fancy new CD changer. Well it doesn't work. It ticks off the time of the track and I can skip to the next track but it doesn't actually PLAY the music! Any insight into what I'm doing wrong?

I got a after cd player in my car and sometimes this happens to me...Make sure you are burning MP3 and NOT MP4 or etc...

What "fancy new CD changer"? If it's the one that came in your fancy new car, it doesn't play MP3's and does just what you describe. If it is something else, sorry, I can't help you.

If you're in the US and you're using your stock fancy CD changer then it doesn't play Mp3's. There is a dealer-option Mp3 changer that's available, but NO US 3's come standard with a Mp3/CD player.
