I never run a front tag on my cars. So imagine how pissed I was to see the 2 holes the dealer had drilled 2 holes in the front bumper for the front tag bracket.
Looked around and found www.bumperplugs.com
Their site listed Velocity Red as matching up to Orient Red.
I ordered a set and they arrived quickly. Install was a breeze even in twilight lighting. The next day I noticed that the color match wasnt great. The Orient Red was allmost a burgundy color while Velocity Red we all know is a bright red. I emailed Eric at Bumperplugs.com and he apologized for the color varience. Even though it was my fault for not verifying that the colors matched he had a set of plugs painted Velocity Red and shipped to me at no charge.
Best part is they will now carry the Velocity Red color as a standard color...
I can say that bumperplugs.com is a great company to do business with and can recommend them to anyone.
If your intrested in covering the ugly holes in the front end of your car give them a try....

Chris you will see that the match in color is spot on. You will have to ream the holes out a little to fit the plugs but thats easy enough with a cordless drill and a few diff sized drill bits...Took pics and will post tonite...

nice find i had to move my pate off to the side cuz i drive in CT everyday to work.. and i have the front mount so ive had two hole where the old plate placement was but i wont anymore ill order these next week.

i guess you can make them yourself if you wanted to for cheaper. But you can do that with anything and with bumperplugs you are paying for quality. I just put mine on yesterday and they match the color of the car perfectly. Makes the car look 10 times better

Paint match and quality i OEM good. In the end your paying not only for the part but the quality of the product. Doubt anything you/I can do at home will match that...

yeah ive seen home made ones and they dont look that great most of the time the paint doesnt match and attention to detail matters at shows... i want mine to perform well at the track as well as to show it off so thats why ill be buying a pair of these soon as i stated above

Over priced and a nice padding with shipping charges. ...but they do look nice. I was just thinking of painting the screws with my new bottle of touch-up paint but I doubt that would look as nice.

ok, so I spoke to Eric at bumper plugs. If you're paint code isn't on their site then you have to get at least 5 people who need the same color so that it justifies them adding the paint to their site. I for one need bumperplugs in Liquid Platinum Metallic. How many others need the same?

Ok well I have great news to report, Bumperplugs has now stocked Liquid Platinum Metallic!!!! That is great news for me and anyone else who has this color and has also had the misfortune of the dealer sodomizing their front bumper! After speaking to Eric at bumperplugs for about a month now, they have added the color to their site and are now taking orders!!! GREAT SUCCESS!
