it looked like i had a corse sandpaper bumper. thats what 700 miles on the I-5 does!

Summer's coming!

Your right. Those little f-ers are....bugging.
No fun cleaning between the fog light and the bumper, I use a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Nice photochop BTW

dude, alan, i feel you man, i was visiting a friend like 3 hours north. it was up the 5, and like DAMN the bugs were like seiroulsy GLUED to my car, i washed it twice AND used bug & tar remover and there were still some stuck on the bumper. Maybe it had somethign to do with me going about 110mph. i dunno, but it was a PAIN IN THE A$$ to get it offf. good luck man

Hey! that look exactly like my car! The color~ the bugs~ ^^

I just drove from LA to SF couple days ago. BAM! Bugs are landing on my cars~ I still need to wash it this weekend. I bet it's going to be a pain in the arse!

I had an aweful one after a night of following a boxster around curvy mountain roads at high speeds at night. Ya know I dont think My new headlights attract them as much, I dont see them fly right into the light much anymore.

s***, and i thought the few bugs on my front end were bad. that looks like mud has been thrown all over the front end, ahhhh!!!!

on the way home last night a moth exploded on my driver side mirror, was pretty nasty

haha crazy, just like mine, maybe worse!

my visibility was cut down like 30% when i got up to Berkeley and when i got down, since i didnt stop any time on the way.

A friend of mine who restores cars for a living gave me a little tip on how to make bug removal ultra easy and I couldn't believe how well it worked.

Before you go on one of those long trips to cottage country where you know you will be showered in bug juice, spray the front of the car down with Pam cooking spray. I know it sounds weird, but it really works, and it causes absolutely no damage to the finish of your car. Now, when you get home all you have to do is drive through that faithful no touch car wash, or just spray the car down with the hose. I always use the no touch after trying this simply because it cleans the entire car down, but a hose will clean of all the Pam and the bugs too.

Hey, it really works, he is an auto restorer, so if anyone knows the effect this will have on your finish it would be him, and he says it won't do any damage at all...think about it...if your body can handle it, your paint shouldn't have any problems. :)

pam is really just canola or olive oil in a airisol can but it sounds like a good idea for those really long trips i guess but i would rather just put a bra on (bolth me and the car) and then take it off after.

DO NOT use the Pam... I used it on my Corvette w/ disasterous results. The oil ended up smearing all over and it took me forever to remove it all. A simple wash will not remove it.

Perhaps StonGard http://www.stongard.com would be a better choice :) We will have this in our store soon... in the meantime,... here is my bugpic from my old car:

Anyone have a pic of a clear bra on a car? I think it would look like a poncho on a bumper. wtf
