BT Phone book download adds random letters to names.

I know! Sounds wacky, but when I downloaded my contacts from my LG440G to the phone book in the 2015 CX-5 GT w/tech pkg, extra letters are added to about half of the names. EXAMPLE: "Rick" becomes "Rickye", "Home" becomes "Home ce". Sometimes there's a space between the name and the added letters. The only thing I see that seems to be consistent and a possible clue, is that the added letters are pairs that appear in other names in the phone book. Example: the erroneous "ce" suffix in "Home ce" may originate from the last two letters in "Chance", a preceding name in the phone book. "Yoly" becomes "Yoly Ann" as if borrowed from another entry "Sue Ann". These added fragments, seem to originate only from the properly spelled entries. Any code writers out there have a clue?

I have tried deleting individual entries from the car and reloading them, to no avail. Same errors appear, even some additional errors.

My previous phone, an LG420G, transferred the phonebook accurately.

Is there a way to enter or edit the car'sphone book directly? I'm stumped. Forgive any protocol blunders. This is my first post here. Thanks.
