Bronzoil Shifter Bushings

Does anyone know anything about SRD? Anything about their bronzoil bushings? They state that they will fit the Protege5. Pretty sure 1 pair is for the shifter/shifter linkage, but I'm not too sure if the other pair is for the bushings that the Kartboy bushings replace. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't know much about the company, but it looks like the set of bushigns replace the ones at the bottom of the shifter and the ones that are on the tranny (same as Kartboy). I just ordered a 1/2 set from Corksport.com. I already had the Kartboy and only needed the ones on the shifter. THey will split up the set.

How much and what did you order? Did a _quick_ check on corksport, and didn't happen to see anything, ....

I just ordered 2 sets for $33. Apparently, they are different from the Kartboy bushings. The Kartboy bushings go on the support arm for the tranny, while both Bronzoil sets go on the actuator arm or control arm (or whatever it's called). I'll let you all know once I get them in if they make any difference. BTW, if you're interested in ordering, e-mail this guy named Luc at luc@srdperformance.com . Or you can visit their site at http://www.srdperformance.com and track down the info.

I have these bushings in my 2001 Lx ,they replace the bushings on the end of the shifter and at he tranny , The install is easy . I had a set in my 92 DX as well ,They really help in the slop dept .I got mine through Corksport . I also have the Kartboy shifter radius rod bushings in the 2001 LX . With the bushings I have a shortthrow sifter ,this combination allows for quick fast shifts . Both are well worth the money
