Broken Protege 5 Side Mirror (Help Please)

Ok, just had a little accident with my Protege 5. Basketball landed on top of the mirror and broke it off. The mirror is fine, i broke the piece that swivels the mirror connected to the actual car. Bit hard to picture i know. The wire is still connected to the mirror so i have a mirror hanging by a wire from my car.

Does anyone have a Haynes of Chilton manual that could possibly look up the mirror assembly? I'm thinking i may have to take off the dorr panel, but i was trying to avoid that if possible.

Please no sympathy comments. I know this sucks. I'd just like your help if possible. Cheers.

If it's like a Honda, you should be able to remove the interior panelling where the mirror is, and unscrew everything there...

Were you able to get 01-03A? That was the only one I was unable to access/download.

i took my mirror off and all you have to do is open the door and there is a cover on the inside where the mirror is mounted and if you pop off the cover there are 3 bolts holding it on ..also i did the same this but i punched mine and ripped it off . but i used crazy glue and it worked fine
