broke up with my girlfriend

In time you'll look back and see that it was all for the best. 3 years is a long time, but spending the rest of your life with someone who just isn't right for you would be hell. Just spend time with your friends and before long you'll be ready to move on and put it behind you...peace.
 
At times like this, you need to laugh. This is a review for a KitchenAid product on amazon.com.

Well....my wife of 14 years finally found out about my girlfriend of 13 years and my 7 children with said girlfriend.
She didn't take the news very well, cried, yelled at me, smacked me, then packed up all of her stuff.
She informed me that she had found out about the affair and now had met someone else herself, a Russian Dancer named Ivan Karkov. He came over, punched me in the face, and then helped her move all of her things into a van. And off they went.

As sad as I was to see my wife leave, I was even more sad to see our KitchenAid Mixer leaving. It was the secret to perfect Belgian Waffles that my wife would make for me when I actually spent the night there and wasn't "Busy working at Uncle Joey's Mashed Potato Bar".

I didn't know where I would get a mixer like this, I only shop at Old Navy, Home Depot, and Sam Goody. None of those places had them . (I looked.)
I didn't think I would ever be able to replace my Mixer as easy as I replaced my wife one year into our marriage! So, I asked the girlfriend and mother of my 7 children if she knew where to get a Kitchenaid Mixer. She said she buys all her kitchen needs on Amazon. OF COURSE! I didn't even think of it, maybe it's because all I can think of is some sweaty russian dancer touching my first love.....but, I did go buy one.
I finally got a new one and my Belgian Waffle breakfasts are back! Hooray!

Guess I didn't need my wife after all....
 
party time. you'll feel bad for a while, but you'll get back in the loop. call out your friends or people you haven't seen in a while.
 
Hey man, I also just recently broke up with my GF and it's hurting. This time I actually don't feel better or relieved after the fact.
Things will be all right (I sure damn hope so), come to some NEPOC stuff and we'll talk.

I stopped drinking altogether now as well. (for health and religious reasons)
I realize it's a temporary fix for when you want to escape for a while.
But no matter what, after a few hours, I find myself having to deal with reality anyway.
And the aftereffects ultimately don't help the situation in any way either.

Anyway, I think you got a good head on your shoulders, bud.
I really respect your decision not to get together with anyone at the present time.
I think you ought to be commended for taking this head-on like a man, rather than running away from it like a little boy.
And I appreciate you having the courage to share about this openly.

In addition to all the advice you're probably getting, I want you to know that it's OK to simply take this time to grieve and deal with your loss.
What you are experiencing and feeling is real and valid, so there are going to be the emotions that accompany these kinds of situations.
Don't feel bad about feeling bad, just don't try running away from it.
Coming out of a relationship of 3 years is not going to be easy; that's just a fact.

Now, I'm not quite sure what the situation is so I don't want to jump to any conclusions.
But you have to decide whether or not you want to save this relationship or to simply move on--those are your only two choices.
Once you've made that decision, you need to act on it.
Maybe not right away, but soon.
This goes without saying: but there are two parties involved here, so take your gf's feelings into consideration as well.
In either case tell her how you feel if you haven't done so already, and hopefully she will do the same.
And if you decide to go separate ways, provide closure for her and for yourself.

Focus on yourself. Thats what I am doing. Feels good, its almost to the point where I dont want a GF again. Not right now anyway.

But I still go after the one nighters as often as possible (bj)

I am apart of the women haters Club....#1 There are times like these where you have to remember Women are a dime a dozen, your Family and Close friends will always be there....Always tell them you love them..an love yourself first and foremost.

remember people there are more woman then men in the world....and with gay men, not an insult, but that evens out toe odds even more 2 woman for 1 men sorta deal. but i understand and hear you ive had to dump a few g/fs. and it sucks going from something serious to being single but it happens. life is a challenge, there is no right or wrong just perspectives. never live in regret cause then youl always live in the past. only in the present and know that youve done the right decisions under the circumstance so enjoy. youl be fine, it hurts but time fixes all wounds. but until then enjoy life for what it is, your going to graduate start your professional life, just go out and have fun with your boys.
 
Actually, as of right now, there are more men in the world than women, the ratio is for every 101 men there are 100 women. So much for us falling back on all of the extra girls out there.

girlfriends huh..........hmm thats a new one.........man youll be fine. If you really want to escape for a while, i got some magic mushrooms you can take to get you out of reality for 6-7hours or so........hahaha You will be fine man, dont stress.....think of what is now ahead of you.

From a girls prospective... yeah, alot of them suck. But there are assholes out there as much as there are b*tches. So dont give up on women in general. I have a strong belief that there is that one person who is meant for each and every one of us. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. Have faith that she's still out there and this just opens it up for you to find her. ;)
