K! We had some fun at the March meet. A little rain made us antsy so we moved early this time, sorry if you came out and we were gone. Sad Here's some pics from the March meet:

For April, we're going to be meeting at the Best Buy again then maybe head to a park or something. Plans will be determined at Best Buy. It's going to be a good day supposedly says www.weather.com. So wax up those cars and get them looking nice! Bring your tripods, cameras, anything else. Any Mazda is welcome!

For you......I-24 to I-65 South exit #69. Take a right at the top of the ramp. Take a right at the 1st light (at Bank of America). Go about 1/8 Mile and you will see Best Buy. It's super easy! I hope to see you guys there.

So I guess I'm kinda lost....is it the Best Buy in Brentwood or Cool Springs? I don't wanna drive to Brentwood and then have to turn around to go to Cool Springs. Does the person that is running this have a contact number we can call if we get lost?

I need to know before noon tomorrow, because thats when I am leaving Clarksville, and I need to print off directions to the location so I don't get lost.

Cool Springs is a mall/area that people refer to.....Brentwood is a City. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Its cool Dave, don't worry man, I just am not that familiar with the Nashville area, my gf is, so I guess that is helpful in case of any confusion. Again, thanks Dave for posting that, and if I have any issues I will call you. Is there more people coming to this than just 7cars? Also, can you bring one of those prop rods with you for me to see, Im interested in buying one..but not sure if the home made route is cheaper...or the cheap ones from Oreillys is a better deal.

Hey sorry I wasn't able to reply to any of this TN/KY Tuner. I've been out of commission for about a week. Was admitted from the ER, tested for meningitis and that came out negative. I have a verimia, virus in my bloodstream. So I couldn't make the meet. I heard it went well. I'll be planning the Huntsville Meet here in the next few days.

I wouldn't really know how the rest of the meet went...when we left Famous Dave's BBQ we all pulled out to the intersection, and the light turned yellow and everyone made it through but me...so I got stuck at the light and no one pulled over to make sure I could follow them to the park to meet back up with the rest of the group....so...I called some friends that lived in the area and hung out with them all day.

Thanks to who ever the Mazda3 was in front of me (tall chubby guy, like 19yrs old)....dick! Yellow doesn't mean speed up and almost get hit in the intersection, concidering I had no idea where I was or how to get back to the highway, ya coulda stopped since you barely missed getting hit in the first place. Oh well, maybe next time the folks that show up will all be a little better at communicating and making sure everyone knows where they are going, and those that don't can follow the ones that do.

Dave...from what I was able to see...ya didn't miss a whole lot man...so Zodiac and Dave...don't feel bad about missing out. The only guy that talked to me was the dude in the MS3 from Alabama, oh well.

I thought there were going to be more Proteges out there...I was the only one...wtf? I know there are a lot more MSP's and MP3's and other Prot's out there in Nashville or surrounding areas, I drove all the way from Clarksville and was the only one.

Hope you recover soon man, let us know when the Huntsville meet is, and I'll see if its too far of a drive for me, the Army wont let me really leave the state or Tennessee, so I wanna make sure that if I do, that it will be worth any trouble I may get in for it.(beer)

I'm going to be posting the meet in the Tennessee and Alabama sections. And probably on the Rx8 forums. I'm able to get out of bed and walk like an old man. The guy you met was Daniel, he's a very prominent member on the "other" mazda3 forums. His brother had the white sedan. That was actually his before he got the Speed3. From what the other guys told me, the younger guy who was 19 or so, was a potty mouth, etc. I can't really speak, I'm 20, but I know how to act around other people =) Hopefully the Huntsville meet will be larger. Ya he was kinda "out there", I mean I'm 21 almost 22, and I'm in the Army, so I know all about the bad language part of things, but I too know how to watch my mouth around people that aren't really used to the F word being used on a regular basis lol. How far is Huntsville from Clarksville? I guess I could just go look myself, I just am too lazy at the moment. Anywho, I look forward to the next meet...maybe this next time their will be more protege people and more conversation amongst the members, and the guy with the MS3 was real nice like you said. No one else said 2 words to me...other than..."didn't you order chicken strips?"

It took our first meet a litte bit to get going. And actually we hit it off pretty good afterwards. Learning names, etc. I'm pretty in to talking about the cars, future mods, other cars. Not so much sports =p But I'm a generally nice guy. You're about a 3 hour drive depending on how you drive. Mapquest says 2hours 45min 160miles just roughly. I'm going to try and get a local protege friend of mine to show up. He's got a black one with rims, exhaust, intake. He used to have huge yellow vinyl tears on the rear of his car, he removed em.

I know its not the hottest looking thing out there, but it sure does handle like its on rails My main style of racing is AutoX its become my new addiction! So when I do race, thats when and where I do it.

Chris, I'm real sorry you didn't get to make it to the park. Had I known you got left behind I would have stopped and gotten lost with you.
