Brand spanking NEW!

Yeah I hear that...after that night, I haven't had illegal tint (ie. front windows tinted) in the longest time. I even hesitated on tinting my TBSS. It was alot more peaceful to drive with, that's for sure.

In MI, if you have a doctor's note saying you need the tint for medical reasons (eye doctor's note, suggested tint for sensitivity to light - which I have). My eye doctor wasn't willing to write me a note, citing "liability reasons". My normal doctor thought that was laughable, and wrote me a note right away. He said "What's more of a liability, you not being able to see properly and getting into an accident??" That was his justification for writing me the note.

I haven't used the note, and haven't gotten the chance to see if it'll work. I do know it's a legit rule, and I can even have it printed on my license, but then I can't drive any car without tint. Lame.

Once I actually get the MS3, I may end up just tinting everything but the front two windows, sorta like my factory tint on the SS. All rearward windows except for fronts. My buddy's white STI just got tinted all the way around and it looks gorgeous.

Well its actually 37%. But depending on where you get it done and what kind of film they use, yours could look different. I asked for 35% and they said according to the manufacturer blah blah blah, we can do 37% lol My previous car was 35% and it was a tad darker and I also got a ticket :( So yea, I'm happy with it! :)

35% all the way around? looks good.

Virginia is funky when it comes to tint. 50% on driver (front) windows and 35% for rears. These freaks even have meters to check. Hence, my lack of tint at this time.

I live about 45 minutes from Richmond (SE of P'burg on 460) during the weekend. If you have any questions or need some help, feel free to ask.

Congrats on the grab...the car keeps a smile on your face.

I've actually scraped two front windows on the spot to avoid a ticket from the po.

He had a freaking meter. Curse you VA!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has an "eye" for a certain color. Not every color will appeal to everyone of course. I am stuck on red and white, although I keep seeing more cosmic blue's and i'm starting to appreciate it.
+1!!!!

All the drivers in the cars that drove by slowed down and stared at me thinking I must have killed somebody or something.

Bottom line, no tints on my Mazdaspeed3. I had enough. (notcool)
LOL Yea, so I can see why you wouldn't want to get tint after getting pulled several times. In my last car I got pulled over once, around 1 am on a Friday night. I too was not speeding or anything, I was one of two cars on 64 West. I guess the cop was looking for a drunk driver or something. But yea, he pulled out his handy-dandy device to read my tint and asked me to tell him what the meter said lol I was like 3, 5trying to pretend I didnt know the correct way to say it was 35 LOL So that didnt work, he wrote me a ticket for just tint --- $91.00 ouch. So if I get probably more than 2 tickets on the MS3, Ill prob take it off the 2 front windows..it looks sooo good though! :)

I am seriously thinking about getting a note, or seeing if I can. I actually do have a little sensitivity to light, so it actually may be legit! Yay!

Yes, VA sucks about their tint regulations. Wow, you are waaay down 95 :) Some of my family lives out that way, so I just might see you around!
