if my parents were rich i would have slapped them for getting me an SI.

No you wouldnt, if someone says "here son, we want to provide you with a car you like to drive and want, were going to pay for it so you dont have to worry about bills." You'd say hell yeah. Sorry that some us have it better off than others and we dont have to struggle through life. Blame the dumbass kid, not the dumbass kids parents.

the kid is dumb for thinking basicaly that the car is all driving is about and as im sure everyone here knows its not the car its the driver. you can put a great driver in a s*** box and hell beat the worst driver in the best handeling car ever. maybe he learned his lesson but if his parents brush it off he sure as hell didnt

Guess those don't handle that well after all. (first)
I think we can chalk this one up to pilot error. They handle pretty well. I'd buy one.

Tough little car. Seems to have held up pretty well.

When I was sixteen, my parents could have bought me a Yugo with two wheels missing and I would have still worshipped them like demigods.

They didn't.

I bought my first car at 21.

i heard him on the phone with his mom "yea mom...I hit a rock and it flipped my car"

i was saying in the background..."yea, a rock also known as a MOUNTAIN!"

bwahahahahahahah. just pictured him saying that too. priceless!

yeah what kind of parent beliefs a rock would flip a ******* car? You'd have to somehow run over a boulder.

8miles/157 seconds=183.4mph average- Evo
8miles/197 seconds=146.2mph average - P5???

Either you have the fastest P5 in the world or one of those numbers is a little off.

That mountain is just an 8 mile cliff right?

Acutally I average 80mph at around 50-60mph a turn. The turns aren't that tight. One Evo did it in 2:37 but he was flying. My best time is 3:17. Of course this is done at night with no cars on the road. This kid obviously didn't know the road and didn't anticipate the turns. Also going downhill is a lot harder than up hill. My time down is like 4 mins. I wish I was behind this kid when it happened.

So what you're saying is that it's really about 5 miles, right?

somebody need to make that into a slideshow with some pictures and mebbe some photoshop, cuz thats the funniest thing i've ever heard (first)

(lol) my thoughts exactly!!

And btw,it's only an Si!Who cares..the car is butt ugly anyway..
And yes..the parents were morons!

no he wouldn't. the s*** box car would've been left behind on a straight away. keep up...maybe...but there are mechanical limitations too..not just driver skills.

Why is everyone excited about him having an SI, big deal. The car isn't that much money and it's somewhat average priced for an economy car nowadays. My parents didn't buy me a car, actually I drove my moms ford aerostar minivan for the 1st year of driving :(, but it's not like the kid had a bimmer or benz

i drove my parent's pontiac transport my 1st year and then got a nice job when i was 19 and was able to buy a brand new 2003 P5. i didn't hit any rocks that made my car flip either ..... the kid's a dumbass for sure.

But that's nothing ... why are you guys freaking out over his parents giving him an SI? it's a honda and it's not that expensive. a guy here at work knows a guy from his previous job that got an SL55 AMG when he was like 17. he totalled it ... didn't even last him a month. He totalled like 2 other cars before (that he bought himself, semi-shitboxes)
