Brake update

With car on jack stands, all four tires off and the car running. Begin to bleed the brakes from the corner furthest from the reservoir to the closest. After each caliper make sure to check your fluid level. I repeat the car must be level on jack stands. Use of two people is a must and I recommend you use a brake bleeding kit from the auto parts store. Make the person in the car is already pushing the brakes a little prior to unscrewing the bleed port. I am sorry if this is repetative to you but sometimes when we get used to doing things we forget the basics. I had the same problem on my ES and I could not figure out what I did wrong. My problem was that I only had one end of the car jacked up. When I put it all the way up on jack stands it solved my problem. Hope that helps

The tires weren' smoking. I was just the driver side pad or rotor that was smoking. I smelled the other three wheels and they seem to be fine smell and smoke wise. I am going to take it to my mechanic tomorrow and see they can work this out. I really don't feel like messing with it anymore.

If anyone is going to bleed brakes i suggest this one man kit. I have one and it is the best i ever used. You leave the bleeder nut open with a line hooked to it and get in our car and pump away. It wont suck back any air into the brake system and is clean and easy to use.

Got it up on the lift and bleed it about 20 times. So I am the great now. thats right, the great.

I didn't have all the air out of the tubing. I only had pressure in my front driver side because it was closest to the tank. GREAT BRAKES!!!

You said the lines didnt fit in the old line brackets.

was this resolved.

I got the rears to fit back in the brackets ok, but not the fronts. So I pulled the lines as close as I could to the front brackets and just zip tied them. No rubbing or anything.
