the rear uses same pads as 99+ 626 v6 as well. At least that is what the invoice said when I recieved mine. It said 99+ 626 v6/ mx6 Mazdaspeed prot. but that is just what the invoice said. so I am assuming that they use the same pads for all three cars. I bought the ebc green stuff for the rear from tirerack.

The 626 EBC rotors from TireRack look great, but if I get some nice gold rotors from the front, I don't want stock silvers on the rear. EBC only sells front rotors for the 626...anyone have a good suggestion for aftermarket (meaning not just solid) stock size rotors that come in front AND rear?

Just ordered my bobcats and 626 rotors....2-3days on each. THe dealership is out so I had to to go mazdapartsstore to get the rotors. The guys at carbotech are awesome, really nice guys and knew what they were talking about. He also knew of the forums and asked if thats where I had heard about them and such. Then we started talking about other pads and whatnot, great guy!

Check Corsport, but not the MSP section. They have the KVR for the 626 and they are a lot cheaper. One thing though: you cannot get the front drilled b/c they have multidirectional vanes. Other than that they fit 100%. One guy here in Quebec has bought them (all four, plus carbotech pads) and he is very happy with them.

Yeah I called today. And ordered the pads...why arent they here yet!?!??!?!? hahaha just playing, can't wait to get them on and the new rotors. I'll be sure to let you guys know how they are. Thanks mattn.

anyone know of any other cars that use the same fron pads as the MSP?

I gather from reading this thread that the626 does but thats not exactly a car that brake companies would make performance pads for..

I guess im gonna order some bobcats today but if there was another car with the same pads....say a sporty car.....i was gonna see if I could get endless pads. I just dont think endless makes anything for 626

This is great info. I've got 4 glazed pads and rotors that I've gotta do something with. Finally nice to have solid confirmation that the 626 v6 front rotors work.

I'm gonna start digging around to try and find out what rear rotors will fit the MSP. It would be great if it was as simple as 626 v6 rears too, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'll post something in a few days and let everyone know how my search turns out...
