Hi all. I purchases steel braided brake lines and i am planning to do brake system flush this spring. I also purchased speedbleeders to ease the job. The only thing left is to find out which brake fluid to use and most importantly, how much of it i should buy. I did a couple of searches but did not find a definitive answer to this question.
Any input will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

any more insight anyone? I would think that there is more liquid in the full system (all the brake lines) than just the brake cilinder fill tank. Also if i buy motul fluid which one should i get. I do not need all out race fluid though....

Thanks

i plan on installing my SS brake lines at the end of march. I am going to be using motul 600. Seems to be favored by most people here...

whew! motul 600! good lord, hope you're rich.....
I use ATE super blue or 200, when on track. It takes about a quart I think. On the street, I prefer GTA LMA (low moisture absorbtion). You can grab it in any parts store for cheap-o. Good luck!

why do you say that? It cost $13 a bottle. You need 1 & 1/2 bottles to do a full flush. Its no more expensive than doing an oil change.....

I prefer plain Jane DOT3 FORD brake fluid.

Runs great all year round, great on the track too and not expensive at all.

Im assuming i can go to a ford dealership and pick it up from their service department?

I picked mine up from Canada's own local "Canadian Tire".

As long as it is for FORD vehicles, then it's fine. You should be able to pick it up anywhere.

I'm using Ford brake fluid b/c of the high temp rating that it can handle. It's never failed me on the track and street.
