brake disc wear

Hey all,

I wanted to get an Idea of whether or not my disc wear was unusual

I'm at 65K, stock discs, second set of pads. Chnaged to ebc green at about 40 K

stock pads really not bad, I even saved em. proly a centimeter of meat left

I knocked off the ridges and scuffed the surfaces when I put the new pads on, noticing that the inner surface was worn more than outer

cleaned and lubed the pins, nothing odd there

just noticed that the inner surfaces are worn deep, proly a 5 to 1 wear ratio on the disc inner to outer

meaning I am for sure under spec at this point, so disc reccomendatios welcome as well

is this a common fault? or do i have a pair of evenly, partly stuck calipesr??

sounds about normal for the style of caliper our cars have. they end up killing the inside of the rotor but the outside sees much less wear. if your really curious get a cheap rotor micrometer and measure them. maybe have the rotors resurfaced. as long has the pistons fully retract into the caliper and your slides are free then there isnt anything wrong with the calipers

Thanks all

any one have a prefereed disc ?

I gotta be under .8 in the bad spots

it all depends on your price range. and what your looking for in a rotor. i work for a dealership so im partial to oem parts under most circumstances but when i go to do my brakes next time around ill be doing dba's.
