For the 1043983842148423th time... Dodge does NOT warranty performance modifications on any of their cars, even with the Mopar brand items.

mmm yes, they do my friend owns a srt-4 with mopar stage 1 upgrade and they have warrantied it when turbo went out.. they warrantied it when the transmissions went out.

There's a MSP in Austin who has gone through two engines and one transmission (and it's not me for once)... Just because they warrantied it does NOT mean they are covered items. Check out the SRT vs MSP thread or go to Mopar's website and find the Performance Parts area. You'll see the warranty info link right there where it plainly says in black and white, the parts are sold as is without any warranty and if the parts are used on any Dodge/Chrys vehicles for competetiion or offroad use or something like that, the car's warranty is also void.

Hell, do as I did and go talk to a Dodge dealership yourself. They'll tell you the *same* thing.

i thought they appeneded that clause that mopar parts are now covered when used in an srt-4

Next thing I get is an FMIC. Since I just got my entire warranty voided. Now I have to replace the flywheel, clutch and tranny. At least I have nothing to worry about anymore, since I will never go back to another mazda dealership again except to pick up my car. **** you mazda....
