BOV install on a 88 TII

I am planning on installing a bov on my tII and i was wondering which parts are needed for the install. i was told that just straight installing it onto the airbox tubing can mess things up. Any suggestions?

Most people install it right after the stock top mount if you are still runing it. There are a few places that sell one's for the T2 with stock TMIC.
