get a bov flange welded to the cold pipe, add the bov, tap it to the brake booster line (to the left of the check valve) and you're good to go.

ahh sweet that is exactly what i needed to hear... thank you very much for the info... i just wasn't sure where to place it

Maybe relocate the MAF.. is that with the bov and bpv? Maybe because of the bov you are getting the compressor surge, maybe try to tighten it enough so that it's not leaking, but not overly tight to where you'll get the compressor surge. If it's with the bpv, maybe the pressure just has nowhere to release itself and goes backwards through the compressor side, causing the compressor surge. Just guessing.

well as of right now i only have the bpv on it and i dont understand why im gettin compressor surge

not really sure but maybe a leak in the pipeing somewhere a coupler or something

If you're only using the stock bpv thats why you have turkey. The diameter just isnt big enough to handle the air.

its kinda just what they do. lol. I've accepted it. the only further effort I plan to make to resolve it is to run my BOV directly off of the brake booster.
