I'm about to buy new plugs for my car and was wondering what others have. I put some Bosch platinum tipped plugs in there a few years ago and they are still in good shape but I want something better. They are gapped to about .47 right now and will probably set the new ones to about .45.
NGK V are the best and a GREAT price, hell they come stock in Protege5's
its true, i got these from the Dealer when i went out to buy OE sparkplugs![]()
i said vipers lol not protege5's hahaha
ok not being a jerk but everyone knows NGK V spark plugs are the best, bosch sucks, NGK V are the best and a GREAT price, hell they come stock in Vipers, how much more perfect to you need?. .44 is the standard like i said. .44 no .45 unless you go to far lol.
As has been covered at least 3.5 (thousand) times in the history of this forum...Everything, yes everything besides good ole copper NGK BKRs or ZFRs are pure waste of money with nothing to gain in performance, mileage or longevity. Argue amongst thyselves & waste your money how you see fit & just completely disregard the previous 3500 threads about plugs. Nothing has changed.
my car had bosch platinum plugs that weren't but a couple years old in it and i swapped in some ngk copper bkrs at the stock gap (.44) and my idle is dead on now. I never had a problem before but the idle would surge slightly and the tach would jump just a little bit and now it sits there and barely quivers at all.
