Hey Guys,
It's thread #2, because I started the same thread over on 6club a couple weeks ago in the hopes of getting some local speed6 meets together up in the Boston area. I know of several MS6's in the Greater Boston area, and wanted to get some local, regular meets going, especially since the summer is upon us. I wanted to extend the invitation over here to you nice folks as well
. Sorry I missed you guys on the Spring Cleaning meet on the Cape, but my car is kinda struggling due to a bad vacuum leak. She'll be up and running and tuned by this Thursday.
So, we're trying to hammer out a schedule and so far, and it looks like most people can do either Friday or Sat, so I was tossing out a tentative Friday, May 28th. It may be a little short on notice, and I'm willing to meet up on Sat, May 29th as well, but I'd prefer one day if possible
.
We are going to have the meet at Wollaston Beach, in Quincy. There's a lot of parking along the beach, however, we'll have to get their early either day (especially on Sat) if we want to be able to park next to one another (or near one another for that matter, lol). Here's a couple of pics of Wollaston Beach in case you are unfamiliar:
You can see there's a bunch of parking beyond the second pier in the second photo there. There is also a couple restaurants across the street where you can grab some grub or a couple beers. It's also right on the beach (duh), which is pretty cool, and although it's "not legal" to drink on the beach, I've been known to sneak myself some rum and cokes (or whatever you like) in plastic cups on the beach. Let me know if you're interested, and if you can make it. Mad props goes to anyone with one of those giant beach tents canopies you can set into the sand. Either way, with some sunscreen, cold drinks and good grub and beers across the street from the beach, it should make for a great time. We already got a half dozen MS6'ers together rearing to go. We gotta stick together as we're a dying breed, lol.

. It sounds like you guys had a great time! I hate when my car is out of commission like this. I have a lot of fun ripping around in my car, and having to granny it in CL sucks. I really hope I can get the new TIP by Weds, and get it swapped out on Thursday.
