Bose factory amp direct upgrade

Hi to all. i own 2025 cx5 with bose factory amp. i wish to connect a DSP with a plug and play harness. cant really find it. i took out the carton bose speakers...poor quality..its like your inside a cave. is there any DSP i can just connect with P&P? tnx! Tom

What is this "DSP with a plug and play harness" you are talking about? What exactly are you hoping to achieve here?

Jumping the gun a bit before you give an answer but there's a very good chance that you can't do what you are talking about. In almost all cases you need to completely replace the entire Bose system including amp and head unit if you want to change anything about it. They are not very modifiable systems.

Sadly, i can not really see on what you based your answer. And it looks like you do not know enough about this unit. It does not need to be replaced, just tapped in to with a dsp. All i asked was if there is a plug in wire harness for it.

I'm an audio engineer and used to work for Bose. I have a pretty good idea how their stuff works lol. But fine, don't answer my questions. Good luck figuring it out!

I think the OP was looking for something like this:

It allows using the signal from the Bose system, and plugs into a “DSP Amplifier” thereby un-curving the Bose equalization, and giving his aftermarket amplifier a clean, un equalized signal.

I did the same to a prior Hyundai with the infinity system. He’s just trying to avoid cutting or splicing into wires.
