I've trawled through the net and this seems to be a fairly common issue but I can't find anything that has helped so far. Basically I have the '03 TS2 estate with the BOSE 6cd changer. Recently it had issues reading CDs and spat them out saying 'Check CD' then one day it wouldn't read anything, it tried and tried but eventually spat it out saying the same thing 'Check CD'.
Bought a 2nd hand stock single cd player off of ebay only to fit it and find it doesn't fully work because it isn't compatible. Doh! So back in with the old one and now it doesn't try to read cds it sounds like it's just flicking through the CD changer.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it. I'm searching every day for a BOSE replacement stock unit but no luck yet. I really don't want to take it to a dealer because I simply don't have that sort of spare cash but it's looking like I may not have a choice.
