Borla Cat-Back for MS3

Has anyone picked this up yet or at least heard what it sounds like. My friend has one on his WRX and it sounds sick. I've always associated Borla with US muscle cars but I may consider this if it sounds good. Thanks

I have never heard a borla exaust that sound bad. I have not heard the speed3 system; I was kind of disapionted it was only 2.75''rather than 3''... Maybe that quarter 1/4'' difference is negligable?

I would just replcace the 2 resinators, muffler, and 2nd cat with straigt pipe and save $700-800.

No, but it also doesn't cost $1100. $30-40 in piping will get the job done for us folks on a real budget.

So what if you go with a 3" downpipe and testpipe.? Stock CBE No Resinators or mufflers. How about that set-up.

i have removed 2 resonators and my secondary cat and i love it. but im pretty sure once i get my catless DP i might slap a resonator or two back in

Ya, I think Cobb or somebody else calls it the "divorced set up". The 3" feeding into the 2.5" A lot of other people love the idea and it must do pretty well if they are marketing it. I think a straigt piped 2.5" Cat-back will have more flow than a 3" with two resinators, one cat, and a muffler.
