The only thing that I know of that is out that controls fuel and timing that works is the Haltech. By the way dont get your car flashed it didnt do anything for me

BTW he would hit rev limiter and shift at 7 grand in every gear. When we were driving we'd hit 10 psi and he'd say lets turn it up more. I said you do it I don't want anything to do with this. So he turned it up. I got scared when my car ran 10 psi I only had the boost controller on for one day and I didn't want to blow my motor. I'm going to tell him to take it off tom.

you flashed your ecu and it didn't even make any power difference? are there any chips or other ecu flash's that do anything? links maybe? and its funny how we are talkng in 2 different topics together lol

I didnt feel anything at all. I was a waste of time plus if you leave yours unflashed you will be able to boost more. As for chips if you can find one let me know cause I havent found anything that works

Yeah I hope he has colder plugs...higher octane gas would help too. Hes driving a time bomb! hes a guinea pig...we can use him to learn more about what our cars are capable of.

So this other kid at my school has a mazdaspeed, which is kind of odd and they are both black. That's beside the point today he said he wanted to put my boost controller on his car. This kid is crazy and really didn't care much if he blew his motor. I rode in his car as he boosted 17 psi with stock everything except a 2.5 inch catback. Fuel cut was a b**** but that thing was fast as hell. He raced my friend's talon which would run a low 13 and lost by about 2 car lengths. I was amazed and convinced him to stop but he wouldn't listen. Let's see how long his motor lasts.... BTW he is flashed.

Why don't you tell him to just cut the vacuum line to the wastegate so he can get maximum boom... I mean boost....

It felt exactly the same as before. Also a friend of mine with a msp went there also and it felt the same also

Hmm weird...It just felt a bit smoother around 3000 rpms...like no lag or "hesitation." But I never felt hesitation in the first place...just that it was a bit smoother.

I didn't feel any difference after the flash as well, and I had my car flashed three times just to be sure hehe

some of you guys with the 03.5's were prolly allready flashed when you bought the car. after the tsb came out it was mandatory for all dealerships to comply and flash all there msps in stock.

And I still have no stickers anywhere that confirms the flash. I def felt the hesitation from 3k to 5.5k. It's still there but not as bad with some mods done.
