enjoying the boost? boosted sedans are teh win (first)

The painted dark grey (or bronze? is that) wheels look is pretty nice on the silver ES. I'm hoping there's a flood (or a small deluge) of reasonable 16x6.5 Miata 5-lugs on the market when the NC comes out. That would let me run 205/45/16 tires safely. They are subtley different from the Protege wheels.

I'm trying to decide if I like that painted top of the grill look. Someone else here did that. I think I like it better.

The 3" exhaust might give away your sleeper but I'd do what you gotta do to get the most out of your turbo. I'm glad a supercharger doesn't require that large of an exhaust because I love my RB catback to death.

what rims are those javo? I'm looking at getting some 16s eventually

you can run 205/45/16 on the stock 16s safely

Those Espelirs look nice indeed. How much do they run?

Ideally now I think I would get Espelirs, 15" black rims w/ fat tires, factory sedan lip kit, clear corners, tinted headlights/tailights, and maybe the 03.5 MSP wing. But we'll see how much of that I can manage. Right now Turbohoses SMIC and a motorized screen for my carputer are on top of the list.

Yea but on the other hand it'll probly sound sick as s***. The sleeper effect will be for those who only see it idling from the front or side :).

that looks nice....how many miles on your engine/tranny/clutch?

-R

55,000 on engine/tranny, and I forgot to mention I got an ACT clutch with the install.

Oh hell yea :). Right now its at stock boost w/ the stock exhaust, but after Tuesday it should be real nice. I am already wanting to get a better side-mount and engine management tuned for 10 psi. Oh and an electronic boost controller.

Yeah, I've seen people do it but I don't think it's ideal.
I'm kinda going by the Edge Racing figures which say 205/45/16s should be on a 6.5" rim minimum to 7.5" max. So ideally I'd like a 16x7 wheel.

The 205/50s have more sidewall to bow into my 6 inch wide factories.

Very nice!!I would have done the exact same thing!!And yeah, that's a total sleeper!!(bowdown)

Got the exhaust and AEM installed. The pics aren't great, you can barely see the exhaust. It's got a nice low profile with a deep sound that isn't too loud.

Unfortunately the car is running lean and i'm not sure why. AFRs usually bounce back and forth in between 14 and ~15.5. When i get on it they go down to 11 and below, but i'm having to keep it at 6 lbs because there was some detonation at 8 lbs. Sucks cuz i notice a big difference between 6 and 8.
