Can You Feel A Difference From Stock Boost To 9 Or 10psi??

Yes. But it is only recommended if you have supporting mods, as just upping the boost to 9-10psi on an otherwise stock car is generally not a good idea with the MSP.

I would be very careful upping the boost. I felt the car ping with just an axle back and a filter at 8psi. I was a newb and just raised it without knowing any better. I am lucky to have not blown the motor.

ok ur about to do what i did, i upped mine to 9 and it was way fun and yes you can tell the difference, its amazing....until u get the deadly sounding "ping". i was lucky that i was still under warranty. definitly if ur gunna run 9-10 psi dont run it hard all day long and i would reccomend getting and upgraded intercooler b/c it will run wicked hot and cool down time is rediculous.

so i got my boost controller in and im running 9psi what a difference. it seems to run good and no ping noise yet. im hoping it doesnt happen but i think its cause i run it easy most of the time

Not all detonation is audible, better start saving for that rainy day.

if you are flashed you dont wanna do that without supporting mods.

unflashed and you should be ok, just check your plugs and air fuel ratio to make sure you are not leaning out.

i learned the hard way to not up the boost, my car is still sitting with a blown motor and i had supporting mods, i can def say that the tune wasn't very good tho

would a custom msp SMIC and a catless pipe and a short ram ( almost CAI) be ok to up the boost to 8-9 ?

8, yes. 9, up to you. i would get the AFC or some other ems and then stick it at 9 and feel safe.

yea my computer is unflashed but i just felt the fuel cut today it sucks it felt like my motor locked up thats how hard it let go so im running 8 now and its doing ok

Just because you have all the bolt ons doesn't mean it won't blow. I do think you can run that safely but I had been running just an intake and a muffler at 8-9psi. I know have just about everything and some running 8.5psi with a much bigger turbo still on the stock motor.

the problem with an MBC is spiking.. i might do a custom job on that one..

gonna go visit a pneumatic shop near here and see what they have.. i'll post some pics if i ever find anything..
