So now that Im getting a 3.5 in ETS Tmic I need to look into upgrading the stock intercooler boost hoses. I know for looong time there was alot of bitching and moaning of the SU tubes not fitting good and kinking and all that happy horseshit..so what if any aftermarket boost tubes will work with the ets tmic? thank you

my su tubes fit fine. the hot side is a little tight at the ets cause the ets is bigger barely. but no kinks nothing. dont know if they did anything but they fit.

They are for dressup only, really not necessary.

stock boost tubes are s***. mine didn't only blow off, but also blew out on the side just above the clamps. after driving you're car have you ever touched the hot side of you're IC's boost tube? its so soft and thin its ridiculous.

OP. i'd def upgrade you're boost tubes. a nice thick silicone tube is so much better than the soft stock things we get stuck with. and from what i understand SU's are great. its just a little tight fit to get the back tube on (i hope you have small hands) hah.

I have no fitment issues with my SU tubes. If you don't replace the tubes atleast replace the clamps. The blue SU tubes do look nice in the engine bay and you can find them used on occasion. I got mine used for $50.

I just installed my ETS and used the SU Boost Tubes. They fit great. I had no problems with them, no kinking. They went right on, with a little smear of vasoline. The fitment problems were with the old style SU TMIC.

Edit: I tried to get a pic of the rear tube so you could see.

thats wierd well their the ones from the darkstar motorsports. But they look alot like the obx-r ones so screw prabaly just go with SU tubes.

This site blocks any mention of SU, even in links. Do not get the OBX tubes, they are too long and will have to be trimmed. I had them 1st in the GB kit from Darkstar.
