Boost Sciences

I ran one, a very long time ago .. I was one of the first to use it on a MSP, actually.

Might help if you post a couple more detailed questions other than, "Who's running this?" .. Just a suggestion.

Don't get all technical with the poor boy Cindy! What's a reflex valve anyways? Is that when a girl uses two fingers instead of one to throw up? (popcorn)

its a bpv, 1 inch inlet and outlet. plenty of people running these, look around a bit

^ Yeah im getting it as well (sent an email to BoostScience)
Just asking if anyone was currently using one.

I plan on using it straight up (no dual set-up). How about you maxlel?

Turbolife FMIC kit comes with a 1.25" nipple on the coldpipe already and I don't feel like playing with such awesome pipes heh ( cutting / welding w,e ) just to get a "pssshhh". Ive read alot on this forums and apparently you can be "turkey free" with a Boostscience recirculed on the intake with at least 1" ID recirculation fitting welded on it. I had a HKS SSQV2 vented last summer and I got tired of it, mix of fluttering and turkey.

good valve nice and quick. u will still get some turkey as the hot pipe outlet for the bpv is 3/4 inch i think. the boostsciences is 1" so if you get larger nipples welded on you should remove turkey. also... hook it up to the brake booster. mine did not open under the vacuum from the manifold.

1.25" to 1" valve --> 1" fitting on the intake should be fine. I got also a vibrant block on the brake booster line with 3 ports for WGA/BPV etc..

Yup i got the turbolife kit, with the nipple welded to the coldpipe. I also bought an aluminum s bend pipe form cxracing, that i will use for the intake, but I have yet to get the 1 inch nipple welded to it. Yeah I did my searching as well, found a few members who use/used it, alot of good reviews on the RDV.

I wonder why it did not open with the line connected to the intake manifold, was it the stock line? Mine has the T fitting connected to the bpv/wastegate.

My local speedshop have some in stock ( 1" ID nipple ) so you could ask them if theres one near you or any welding place i believe

to flamsp, i think the vacuum off the manifold is not a very strong signal, and its an issue on all msps if i am correct. as far as a know i dont have any cracks or leaks in the lines, boost holds around 6psi and vacuum steady around -20. i also have the t from mani that splits to wga and bpv.

I ordered mine 31 December and I havent heard of them yet. Sent a email asking if they had them in stock and didn't get a answer 1 week later...

yeah right heh

I have it, i love it, still get turkey in low low rpm's and when the car is still cold. other than that it got rid of the turkey, had a 3/4" nipple welded on the hotpipe and 3/4" on the intake tube. (I have 3/4" cause the shop failed to tell me they did not have 1" so they put on 3/4")

took some time to get to me too. trust me you'll get it. one of the members here knows the owner and when i asked why mine took so long to come he said that it was somewhat normal. give it some more time.

When I ran a BPV, I had the universal Perrin Signature Series BPV, and it was awesome. Spring tension was adjustable, as was the amount to be vented, it was sealed, had 1.25" inlet and outlet, could be used backwards if space was an issue, held boost and didn't leak even with the spring out. Awesome valve. It seems people like the boost sciences also.
Bottom line, you want the shortest and straightest shot as possible back to the intake tract, no elbows, etc. And the larger the diameter hose, the better.(within reason)
