Boost Problem

I have a 94 rx7 when it reaches about 3500 rpm it holds back and bucks alittleto go to a hire rpm if any one may know what the problemis please helpme out everything is stock except intercooler

I am taking a stab in the dark here as I am mostly familiar with the fc, however if the fd is setup very similiar and has a tps like the fc it could be out of adjustment and it causes a hesitation exactly like your explaining
