boost levels

just wonderin if it is safe/if anyone or everyone has the boost levels turned up on an almost stock car. i only have the mazdaspeed intake, turbo xs bpv, and soon new engine mount. anyone recommend turnin up the boost past the stock 15 psi? of course id have to get a bc, but im just wondering..

I would not run over 17. The turbo starts to blow a lot of hot air and the stock intercooler doesn't have enough cooling efficiency to cool it off.

I'm running 16 with pretty good results.
