Ok...now I know that my turbo is fine...it's not fuel-cut...my car was reflashed...stock boost (no boost controller) stock except intake. Two different places including friends have told me turbo is fine but there is a problem. They also said that it is weird that I am not throwing a check engine light. Here it is when driving I hit boost extremely quickly and 2 easily...also it jumps up 2 10 before I let off the gas. I thought it was fuel-cut...its not. Have new actuator and plugs on the way...any other ideas?

define "hit boost too easily". What boost are you hitting at what RPM? Have you tested the actuator??

Sounds like your wastegate is shot. Same thing is happening to me right now.

On Sunday I was on the way home doing about 35mph in 3rd gear and wanted to change lanes. I hit the gas and the wheels started to spin big time (they smoked), I lifted off and looked at the gauge at the same time; I saw 18psI (boom06) .

I have had the unichip in my car for over 2.5 years now and I have never seen it go over 12psi. I switched to the low boost setting and was getting 8psi (its normally 6psi). This morning on the way to work I left the house with 8psi and got to work with 16psi.

I have since ordered a new WGA and I have parked the car till I get it.

Its funny, this is the first car I have ever had, that a power increase is a bad thing(alright)

I barely touch the gas to accelerate and I'm jumping up on boost up to 10psi (probably go higher...but I wont let it). I mean its so quick I don't even have to hit the gas that hard. It can happen at low RPM. Kind of like a bad clutch you hit the gas barely move but the rpms spike up. Ok, I have a new actuator on the way. What else? If it is the wastegate...how much...and is it easy to install/tech write up?

just like it was determined in your other thread...its your wastegate actuator...replace it.

I Have Been Having That Same Problem, Last Week My Car Was Acting Wicked Wierd So We Took Off My Cold Air and Put A Boost Controller On And It Is Reading 20 psi At Times, I Brought It To Mazda And They Blamed It on My Turbo Back Exhaust Because I Don't Have Any Cats. But It Is Definitly Not That So Do You Guy Think It Is The Wastegate Or Could It Be Something Else...

disconnect your vaccum hose that oges to the WGA, and blow air with your mouth in it.. if its blowing through, it,s shot..

Thank goodness for these forums. Cause "I'll be damned" if I'm gonna let some dealership bend me over. Thanks guys/gals for all your help.

For real...you keep starting new threads to deal with the same problem...you have like 6-7 threads open when it looks like you only need 2...one for this problem which has been solved like 3 times and one for your BOV problem...

Who the **** are you? The forum police? Now, I'm gonna purposely start even more threads...just for you. Geez, I'm bored at work with 12 hours to kill. I have a real car that I will slowly invest in. This, on the other hand, is a daily commuter...and yes I want to buy cheap parts and make it loud. I don't care...I'm still the man.

s*** i should be the forum police...for every one of the 18 threads you posted in the last 20 days you couldve used the search button and avoided looking like an ignorant douche...but instead anyone who checks this section of the forum on a regular has gotten the pleasure of thinking, "geez this idiot is posting again?? he posted the same s*** yesterday...he didnt need a new thread, why didnt he just bump it?? Why is he so cheap that he doesnt want to fix his car right and why does he want it to be so loud??? What a Ricer faggot"

dude i dont even think you own a gto at this point, but if thats the car youre interested in then go join a pontiac forum (and read the initial posts about using the forum appropriately).

CHEAP PARTS + LOUD = RICE

youre definately the man...the riceman...let me know when you get the vinyl graphics in from ebay...
