Boost guage

i have a 2006 speed6 How did u guys hook ur boost guage up? i have a mechanical greddy guage and i ran everything. i hooked it up to the vacuum line on the BOV the top little black line i got one of those T connectors and had some extra vacuum lines layin around and used some of those. is this ok? is hte reading correct? wen it idles it sits on 23 vacc doesn't move.. wen i rev it it goes to 0 which seems normal but wen i get on it driving it goes up to 16 holds 16 but then when i let off it drops extremely fast. is something not right here? or is this setup ok?

Sounds 100% normal to me.

You have it in the right spot, check for a leak though because -23psi is on the low side. It should be -27 or -28psi at idle with the engine warm.
