Boost guage mount

Where do most of you typically mount your boost guage? I really don't want to buy a pod, but rather mount is out of the way closer to the steering wheel like the WRX stock guage. Is that possible? Has anyone took that approach?

Here will be a typical answer "do a search", but you can find a steering column mounted pod for about $80. I think it's protege5online.com or something like that.

Complaints of it being cheap quality vs. it's great and looks stock. You should search to read and look at the pics for yourself.

I'm trying my own idea to mount an APC universal pod to the top of my steering column. The pod was about $25. Should be here Friday.

nahh, it's not that bad
it only blocks the fuel gauge, if u lean your head tothe side u can see it.

i think it's because it's a 35mm lens....the image in convexed

i actually love the way hers looks, if i didnt have my pod, i would definetly do mine like hers.

i did mines like so... it wasnt the cheapest option, but man is it bad-ass. it cost about $250, but the work is perfect.
