real fast, can u put it on any vacume line? I had a friend install it for me and he just found a vacume line, split it and boom, seems to work fine. Just wonder if it could be inacurate for any reason.

I found that if I used the fuel pressure regulator line the niddle in the gauge fluctuated at very lite throttle pressure. If I used the line that connects to the top of the intake manifold close to the throttle body it worked fine.

hey customMSP,
can u post a pic of the second line u used?
thanks

No problem. Damn, CA the only place I know of where the sun shines like it does in your pictures Dr.Sound! I really miss the clear blue sky and the great weather...makes me wanna cry...Ok sorry sorry, just got caried away from looking at your pic.

My Boost Gauge line

This is where I tapped into the system for my boost gauge. I used a "y" vacuum hose fitting and secured it with very small black zip ties. Works fine for me. The pic is the back of the engine on the top middle of the manifold. The small vacuum line goes to an accuator of some type. The black/red hose goes to my gauge.

does the 'y' hose fitting, come with the guage?
I have my guage on order and it should arrive anytime now, but i'm not even sure what is coming in the box, other then the guage and a few vacumn lines.....

Interesting. Just goes to show again that that source isn't a good one.

Yea i tapped mine at the intake manifold and it worked perfect.
The defis come with everything you need and I highly recommend them.
