I installed a autometer black boost guage. I used the line it came with. I zip tie everything good. Now the problem is after 5 psi the needle shakes really bad. My vac is on 20-21. Anyone know why? I also have mazda speed cai. I hooked it up where the stock blow of valve goes. Cut the tube in half and put the T that came with it. It is boosting 17-18 psi but shakes really bad. Help please.

It's common on mechanical boost gauges to get buzzing in the lines like that. There are a few companies that sell no buzz T-fittings that will eliminate that. Search and you should find one pretty easily.

My line has a little brass insert that makes the hole even smaller.I think that makes the gauge needle bounce less.

You need a snubber. These are available at industrial supply places like Granger or McMaster-Carr. A local valve and fitting business should also carry them.
