anyone live around castle shannon n would want to install my boost gauge for me? i tired it once n i cant seem to find a way through the fire wall to run the vacuum line. thanks
The two easiest are the hood release (grommet is just above the clutch pedal) and behind the glovebox. The glovebox grommet is bigger and easier to access, plus you have the PJB right there to tap for power/illum, but that means running the vac line across the engine bay. If you're installing the gauge on the driver's side, then the hood release is better because it's closer to where you can T off the BPV.
Hood release is the place where i ran mine. Lay on your back and look behind the pedals and you will see a grommet with the hood release going through it, it should be really easy to spot. Unfortunately that was the easiest part of the install for me. Me and a buddy had a heck of a time with mine, then again doing it in 20 degree weather didnt help.
