I was installing my turbo inlet pipe the other day and like many of you probably did you broke your boost control... I was looking for a new one and I can't seem to find a OEM one but I did find a GrimmSpeed boost control module. Has anyone used this of heard anything about it? Also how hard is it to tune and what does is it require to tune it? (If you have used it)

Thanks guys.

why not just call your local dealer?

i think the reason alot of you guys are breaking the nipple is because your removing the clamp, and than yanking on that hose. the house has to be pushed off from the bottom. get a smal flat head and work it off slowly. I just did my inlet install last night and got it off the inlet and off the solenoid with no issues.

Hopefully someone reads this before they do their install and prevents them from yanking and pulling on the hose.

actually I didn't pull it off... After I got everything put back together when I was pulling the wiring harness back into place it got stuck on the hose. The plastic nipples on the module aren't that strong...

I might end up calling my dealer but I wanted to check and see if anyone has used the Grimmspeed. only like a $30 difference. If it's a better quality piece I would rather get it.

Oh i see what you mean.

Yeah I did all my reading on the inlet install before I bought it, and i constantly see WTB threads for people that broke it, so removing that vac hose is where i really took my time.

Ya, I tried to, but guess I wasn't paying close enough attention while connecting everything back together... Bad part was that I didn't realize I broke it until I was going for a test drive and the car started jerking when the boost would usually kick in.
